나리타공항

so, since parting with my camera, i had given up on xanga. but i'm bored and somewhat immobilized at the moment. i left seoul this morning, and i've got a layover here in narita airport for about 3 hours. so i bought a one-day hotspot access and am just kicking back with my laptop here at gate 37.

i really didn't want to leave korea. the past month here/there was really good--not working or going to school, just spending time with people in Hanyang UBF. i shoulda spent more of my time like that instead of teaching so much. but hey, i've decided to come back so 미국 돌아가구 열심히 좀 해야지ㅋ

ok, that's all the energy i have for xanga. i suspect the next span of posts will be rather short-lived. take care people. bendiciones.

some pictures

like i said before, there have been too many things to post about. so here's an assortment of pictures for your viewing pleasure (does "assortment" imply that the pictures are sorted? cuz their not. they're random.). commentary shall accompany the photos, so, hopefully, i'll convey the gist of what i've been up to:

this is my space bar. being difficult. we eventually got it back in with the aid of, uh, q-tips, i think. or else they were toothpicks.

one of the neighborhood kids has a souped up tricycle. it has a motor. like, she doesn't pedal; it just goes.

jacob (last name??) at the airport. he was heading back to la with pauline and luke. at first, i thought he was a random kid that belonged to someone else. he was a good sport, though.

a random picture i found and thought amusing. obviously, this was taken awhile ago since pauline's in it (she would be the one breaching in the background).

yeah. ah. no additional commentary for this one.

this is my acer eating pauline's vaio. i don't know the exact measurements, but, as you can see... my laptop's substantially larger.

i was thinking of you, wes, when i took this pic haha it's a pizza/pasta restaurant in 앞구정동 (expensive neighborhood!!). food was good. i went there with an old high school friend (so-young park ring a bell amongst any of you rare baica readers??). good to see her. she was as talkative as ever haha

i finally finished jane eyre yesterday. not sure about the ending, but i really liked most of the rest of the book. yeah, but i have too much time on my hands these days. i finished jane eyre yesterday, and today i've already gotten halfway through brave new world. i need classes to start.

ok, that's all for the time being. it's past 1am and i need sleep. crave sleep. sleeping now. God bless you all. pray more!

conference

hello hello

so it's been awhile since i updated. there's a ton of stuff i should probably write about.... but i won't. cuz i'm lazy

the summer conference was really good. it was already two weeks ago, but the grace i received is still strong with me. not that two weeks is a long time, but i didn't have any of the typical post-conf blues... or whatever we call it. yeah, so it was a good conference. the passage i liked best was mark 5 on the demon-possessed man. kinda surprising, since i never thought that passage would "suit" me or whatever. i guess it was God's time to wake me up though. and i'm thankful he did!!

ok, so here are some random pics. no logical order to them. i took em all at the conference... except one. you figure out which one.

down time between meetings.

you guessed it. more down time. taken the same day, i think.

a couple shepherds from mongolia. still can't get their names right .

my fellowship (참사랑) after testimony sharing. not everyone's there, but most of us are.

pauline, samuel h. lee, luke, and me. haha the shirts were for the dance we did.

possibly the greatest thing. ever.

okidoke, that's it for now. since pauline and luke left, i've been working and stuff so, yeah, there's nothing too interesting to report for now.

till next update.

lotte world

went to lotte world today. i took a ton of pictures. eighty-one actually. or... is that eighty-one minus three videos... i forget. anyway, i'll update again later with pictures once i have the energy to do so. for now... this really reminded me of orchestra. richard will know why.
